Lindström India expands its work-wear services in Chennai

With the Chennai launch, the company is set to have 11 workwear and one cleanroom business units in India

Lindström India, subsidiary of Finnish textile rental service Lindström, has expanded its workwear service unit in Chennai.

The move is a bid to serve the growing demand of the services in south India coming from the electronics, foods, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and automobiles industries.

Speaking about the expansion Jayant Roy, MD, Lindström India, said: “We continue to make waves in the industry. With this launch, we now have 11 workwear and 1 cleanroom business unit in India with a capacity to process more than 3 million garments per month. With this increase in capacity, we are now able to meet the growing needs for our services in the Southern parts of India.”
