Enables Gamma HealthCare to expand integrated medical waste disposal and document destruction service

MedClean Technologies, a leading provider of onsite technology for the treatment and disposal of medical waste and the destruction of confidential documents and related media, has signed an agreement with US-based Gamma HealthCare and its transport subsidiary Danner Medical Waste Management Services, for the purchase of a MedClean 4500 fixed-based sterilisation system.

The agreement includes the purchase of the equipment plus additional recurring consumable orders for the life of the equipment, estimated at more than 10 years. Gamma HealthCare will expand its operations to include a centralised waste sterilisation processing centre within their seven state Midwest region.

"This agreement represents our second system sale to a distributor partner where the focal point of the agreement is developing a long-term working relationship through expansion of both companies' businesses,” commented David Laky, president and ceo of MedClean Technologies.

“The MC 4500 can process more than one million pounds of medical waste annually. It is exciting for us to contribute toward Gamma HealthCare's goal of processing medical waste, expanding the Danner Medical Waste Management Services line of business, and assisting them with future expansion of their operations throughout the Midwest region."

"The deployment of this state-of-the-art MedClean 4500 system enables us to reduce operating costs while better serving Danner customers in the region," said Jerrod Murphy, president and coo at Gamma HealthCare. "We are actively working to expand the Danner line of business and with the acquisition of this technology we expect to be operational in the near future with our own regional processing centre."
