Omega Plastics completes class 8 cleanroom

Published: 29-Nov--0001

Omega Plastics, a US contract moulder and assembler of medical devices, has completed a 280m² white room at its plant in Clinton Township, MI, which houses a permanent class 8 cleanroom. The white room is also accompanied by three portable cleanrooms as Omega looks to offer its clients fast and flexible moulding and assembly.

“We need to have the flexibility to support our clients’ development as well as capacity to support production,” says Chris Buch, business development manager of Omega Plastics. “The addition of a large white room and another cleanroom allows us to do that for both moulding and assembly.”

Jeff Kaczperski, president of Omega Plastics, added: “The innovation happening with resins and the intensifying requirements around manufacturing quality for medical devices requires an experienced supply partner armed with the right capabilities. The addition of a white room and cleanroom is one of the ways we express our focus on being a great teammate to our medical clients.”

Omega Plastics was founded in 1984 and in 1995 moved to its current location, consolidating all operations in a 6,500m² facility where it provides custom manufacturing solutions for clients across the globe.
