Cleanroom laundry service provider Prudential has opened its largest US  facility in Heath, Ohio, to provide commercial laundry services for cleanrooms

Leaders from Prudential Cleanroom Services and officials representing local, State and the international Textile Rental Services Association (TRSA) gathered on September 16 to celebrate the opening of a new modern cleanroom laundry processing facility.

Prudential Cleanroom Services is a division of Prudential Overall Supply.

The new 68,000 sqft facility will service industries that operate manufacturing in controlled environments like semiconductors, pharmaceutical, bioscience, aerospace, education and electronics.

“Prudential’s opening reflects the continued economic momentum that makes our city a dynamic place to live, work and invest,” said Mayor Mark Johns of the City of Heath.

The cleanroom laundry facility in Heath is the newest, most modern and largest of its 37 facilities in the US.

The California-based company is expanding quickly. This project was first announced back in 2022. This is the company’s eighth ISO Class 3 cleanroom laundry processing facility in the country. The plant occupies 9 acres and was supported by a $35m investment.

Prudential’s President, Chris Welch, said eventually the facility will provide over 80 well-paying jobs for residents in greater Heath and Licking County.

“The Ohio market is important to Prudential, so we can best serve our customers’ requirements in the region,” said Welch.
