The UK-based company has opened two offices in Ireland to capitalised on demand for rectification services in the region

Technickon has opened two offices in Ireland to cope with increasing demand for its controlled environment and cleanroom business.

The UK-based company works in the UK, Ireland, and beyond, specifically provides services for the design, build, project management, rectification and maintenance of cleanrooms, incubator rooms, stability rooms and complex HVAC systems.

Ireland has in recent years invested millions into high technology industries.

As a provider of specialist engineered facilities, technickon now services many large pharmaceutical companies in Northern and Southern Ireland. Necessitating the two new offices.

As an example, pharmaceutical manufacturer AMGEN Technology (Ireland) invested in a facility from technickon back in 2022.

40% of revenue in Ireland comes from rectification work for poorly functioning facilities

Brian Holmes, BDM for Europe, explained that 40% of the company’s revenue in Ireland comes from rectification work for poorly functioning facilities.

Holmes said: “[Our company] prides itself on facilities that work first time, this success rate is hard to match.”

For example, in late 2023 the company performed remedy works for Baxter Healthcare in its UK aseptic manufacturing facility.

Prior to this in 2022, technickon solved a major humidity and AHU problem for the NHS Blood and Transplant division.
