New from the ADCO Group is the Mistral Powered Air Respirator. This advanced Respirator produces flow rates of up to 200 litres per minute for optimum respiratory protection, and claims to be comfortable to use due to its compact and lightweight design. The Mistral unit is available with an integral battery or with a separate waist belt-mounted battery pack for maximum versatility and user convenience. Both options yield a minimum of eight hours duration per charge, dependent upon working environment, battery history and battery charge. Both come complete with a battery charger; intelligent chargers and multi-charger units are also available. Fully CE Approved to EN12941:1998 and EN12942:1997, the Mistral has built-in audible low battery and low flow rate alarms for increased user safety. A selection of headpieces including full face masks, helmets, browguards and caped hoods is available, as is the range of HEPA P3 filters to cover all standard industrial particulate requirements, ensuring the new Mistral is suitable for a wide variety of applications.
