Additional conference announced by WWEM

The organisers of WWEM (Water, Wastewater and Environmentlal Monitoring) 2006 have announced that an additional “Sensor Technology in the Water Industry” conference will run alongside WWEM at the Telford International Centre on 1st and 2nd November 2006.

The conference is organised by Aqua Enviro Technology Transfer, an organisation providing specialist services related to both wastewater treatment and waste minimisation.

“The conference will be complemented by both a large exhibition that will accompany WWEM and a number of workshops, many of which will cover new sensor technologies,” said Nigel Horan, managing director of Aqua Enviro.

WWEM will focus on the regulations, procedures and technologies involved with compliance monitoring of aqueous discharges to the environment. It will also address issues relating to aqueous measurements in process control.
