Derbyshire-based Heat Transfer Systems (HTS) has appointed John Shorthouse as UK sales manager.

Amazon Filters, the Camberley, UK-based manufacturer of liquid filtration equipment, has promoted Neil Pizzey to the position of managing director. Mike Pizzey, the company’s founder and previous md, becomes group chairman and will continue to oversee the business.

Mika Suoja has become production director of Kojair Tech, the Finnish producer of laminar flow cabinets and acetone washing tools for the semiconductor industry. He joins the company from Sovella, also of Finland, which designs and produces industrial furniture.

Envirotainer, the provider of active temperature-controlled air cargo containers and a cold chain management specialist to the healthcare industry, has promoted Reinier Danckaarts to partner management director. Prior to his new appointment, he was involved in the development of the company’s Qualified Envirotainer Provider (QEP) and Certified Envirotainer Partner (CEP) programmes.

David Priest has joined Warrington flooring specialist Kemtile to work on sales and estimating with customers in the east of the UK. He has 20 years’ experience in the flooring industry spending the last seven years in the food and drinks sector.

Pland Stainless, a UK manufacturer of quality stainless steel bowls, sinks, basins and other equipment for washroom, healthcare, veterinary and janitorial use, has appointed David Drew as field-based technical sales manager.
