Bursting discs set new standards

Visilume has introduced a new range of Oseco pressure relief devices for aseptic and hygienic processes. Targeted at the pharmaceutical, bioprocessing and food industries, these premium quality-bursting discs are said to represent the most highly specified, comprehensive and cost-effective solution on the market. Constructed from 316 stainless steel with smooth surfaces to avoid product build-up and minimise contamination, the discs are fully compliant with FDA regulations for hygienic service. Importantly, the standard fit integral gaskets -– made from FDA-approved elastomers, including silicone, fluoropolymer and EPDM – obviate the requirement for special holders, cutting outlay costs and ensuring easy installation and spares sourcing.
