Charpak launches medical division

Following high levels of interest in Charpak's Class 7 cleanroom facility for vacuum-formed trays and packaging, the company has launched a specialist division to handle business for the medical device sector.

"Charpak Medical has been so successful that we are already considering further investment in forming capacity," said Paul Smith, sales director. "At present the medical device sector is poorly served by UK-based manufacturers. Charpak Medical is aiming to bring all the logistical, communication and cost benefits associated with dealing with a UK supplier, and generally make life easier for the customer."
