Cleanroom dictionary launch for IEST

The latest cleanroom terms and definitions have been incorporated into an international dictionary from the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST).


The ISO 14644-6 covers terms used in the ISO 14644 Cleanrooms and controlled environments and the 14698 Biocontamination series.

The ISO 14644-6 is the last document of the original list proposed by ISO technical committee 209 in 1992. Since that time, two additional documents, ISO 14644-8 Classification of airborne molecular contamination and 14644-9 Classification of surface particle cleanliness, were added to the programme.
