Clinical bins from Sulo

Sulo has entered the clinical bin market with the launch of a range of ADR-compliant clinical wheeled waste containers designed for the safe containment and transportation of medical waste from hospitals, medical and care centres.

Available with a wide range of alternative specifications and in four sizes, the clinical containers are designed to meet all UN clinical waste requirements.

Sulo Clinical Containers are a new design concept, the company says. All parts are fully interchangeable and changes to specification and repairs can easily be carried out by the replacement of any of the component parts.

Made from high-density polyethylene which has been formed to provide robust containment in demanding working environments, the bins are available with different colour lids and identification tags for waste segregation. The durable plastic makes the bins resistant to scratching, preventing bacterial build-up, Sulo says.

Identification (ID) microchips can be fitted to enable use with Sulo's ID and weighing system.

A foot peddle mechanism and an innovative self-positioning slam lock are part of the new standard specification but the containers can be supplied with non-marking or heavy duty castors. A central locking model is also available.
