Clip-on gasket cuts contaminants

Tranter PHE has launched a clip-on gasket for use in food production, brewing and other sectors that require ultra pure water.

Designed to eliminate the risk of contamination from glue traditionally used to secure gaskets and ensure the safety and integrity of the products, the Clip-on is suitable for applications that require frequent gasket replacement as it provides quick and easy removal and installation. An easy-to-clean gasket groove allows re-gasketing to be completed on site, resulting in less plant downtime. Principally used with Tranter plate heat exchangers designed for hygienic applications, including dairy processing and in the brewing and distilling markets, the Clip-on also ensures the integrity demanded by pharmaceutical sectors when attached to Tranter double wall plates. It is available in FDA-approved ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) and nitrile versions.
