Differential pressure for cleanrooms
The new Rosemount 951 Dry Gas Differential Pressure transmitter from Emerson Process Management claims to deliver exceptional performance and cost savings for dry gas applications. The reliability improves uptime and reduces maintenance costs, while stability reduces operating costs and lowers inventory costs. The compact pressure transmitter is designed for use in applications that require ultra low differential pressure measurement, such as the control and monitoring of differential cleanroom pressures and airflow measurements in HVAC systems. The 951 is the first dry gas transmitter to offer HART digital communications on the standard 4-20mA output, enabling customers to calibrate, re-range and configure the unit in situ, from the loop connections using a 375 portable digital communicator from Emerson. The intelligence within the 951 can be communicated via HART, transferring sensor diagnostic data to provide predictive sensor and process health information to those running the plant, enabling more efficient scheduled and proactive maintenance.
