Ecolab Healthcare cleanroom in Leeds ready to open

Ecolab Healthcare's new €1m plus upgrade to its cleanroom production site at Leeds is now nearing completion and is expected to become fully operational this month.

The supplier of contamination control products for the life science sector says the new Class C and D cleanrooms will increase the overall manufacturing area by 60%. Once commissioned it is expected to increase production capacity by more than 100%. The licensed production site will maintain and exceed all requirements of GMP, and become a flagship Ecolab facility for the manufacture of sterile and non-sterile cleanroom disinfectants and a range of licensed pharmaceuticals.
