Ecolab launches convenient hand sanitiser

Ecolab, the supplier of cleaning, sanitising, food safety and infection prevention products and services, has introduced the FlexMount hand sanitiser, which can be placed conveniently near to the patient.


FlexMount features an adjustable clamp that can attach to surfaces with diameters ranging from 0.75 to 1.5in. The clamp can also turn for mounting on horizontal or vertical surfaces in the patient's room including IV poles, bed rails, footboards, carts and other equipment.

"Use of hand sanitisers immediately prior to patient contact is an important factor for helping control bacteria on the skin," said Dr Angela Dillow, vice president of marketing within Ecolab Healthcare’s infection prevention seg
