Future secured as Envair acquired by AFOS

UK manufacturer Envair, which specialises in clean air and containment facilities for the healthcare, laboratories and pharmaceutical industries, is under new ownership. A new company set up by the shareholders of medical equipment manufacturer AFOS has purchased the business and assets of Envair, which went into administration in March. The new company will take the name Envair Limited and it will continue to trade separately at Haslingden, Lancashire. AFOS designs and manufactures stainless steel medical equipment such as pathology tables and mortuaries. Together the two companies will have a combined turnover of more than £12m and employ 100 staff.
