Grundfos pump with food in mind

Global pump manufacturing company Grundfos has added to its range of sanitary pumps with the F&B Hygia (Food and Beverage).

The new pump is a single stage end suction centrifugal pump made from AISA 316 stainless steel. It is compact and mobile and Grundfos claims it is “easy to install in any system”.

The F&B Hygia is suitable for a range of beverages, dairy and confectionary products, and the liquid aspects of the meat-packing process. It meets the strict hygiene requirements within the food and beverage industries, designed using the recommendations from the 3A sanitary standard and European Hygienic Design Group (EHEDG).
