GWS Systems adopts Sovella name
GWS Systems, the leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of Sovella workspace equipment and systems for manufacturing, engineering and scientific applications, will henceforth be known simply as Sovella.
The Finnish-owned company, whose UK operation is based in Horsham, West Sussex, has taken this step as part of the natural development of the global Sovella brand. All existing company, service and contact information will remain the same.
“The Sovella brand is synonymous with modern, high quality human workspace,” said UK general manager Mark Burletson.. “Changing the company name from GWS Systems to Sovella will strengthen this positive association between the company and the brand.
“It also puts us in good shape to develop new market opportunities in specialist assembly and emerging manufacturing areas, such as aero electronics, medical device and nanotechnology applications. Here, the pace of change in research, development and manufacturing techniques demands an equally dynamic approach to workspace form and function.”
Sovella’s ergonomic range of equipment provides human-centric solutions, designed to maximise employee efficiency and comfort while reducing floor space in development, assembly and manufacturing areas. It features work tables and workstations, shelving and cabinets, drawer units and manual assembly lines that can be specifically tailored, then adapted to suit various industries.
The company’s design and manufacturing facilities are located in Jyväskylä in Central Finland.
