Hanovia establishes presence in China
Hanovia, a UK company specialising in the manufacture of ultraviolet disinfection systems for water, wastewater, air and surface disinfection, has recently established a presence in China. The company has appointed a Chinese sales manager, Peter Wang, who will be based in Shanghai.
Hanovia's products provide pure water for a wide variety of industrial sectors, including semiconductor and LCD screen production, pharmaceutical manufacturing, food and beverage processing and brewing. The company is also a specialist in treating swimming pool water.
'Our new Shanghai office will provide many opportunities for us to contribute positively towards the rapidly growing UV disinfection market in the country and to participate in the development of the Chinese economy,' said Hanovia's managing director Craig Howarth. 'Peter Wang has many years experience in the UV business in both China and Canada. With this experience of Western and Chinese business cultures, he provides an ideal link between our company and the Chinese market.'
