Syspal, a Shropshire-based manufacturer of stainless steel equipment for healthcare, food and pharma environments, has introduced a hygiene station that controls hand washing and sanitisation procedures to a measurable standard.

The company says the hygiene station is quick, efficient and easy to use. It reassures employees, employers and customers that hygiene routines have been followed before access is gained to controlled areas. The compact unit can accommodate one person every nine seconds.

The station incorporates a footbath for disinfection of shoes and boots. An automatic hand washer delivers a preset soap dose followed by an automatic rinser. Both have a photocell and time controller to ensure thorough cleansing. Hand drying is carried out by means of a paper towel. Finally, the double hand sanitiser automatically delivers a 1ml dose of alcohol to complete the procedure.

“Hygiene stations are the way forward for any organisation that wants to implement truly effective cleaning solutions, says Derry Young
