IEST makes new appointments

The Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST) has added three new directors of standards and practices and three IEST Working Group chairs.

The new director of committee two, Operational Products is Kevin Stultz, currently the general manager of UniClean Corporation. Stultz has been a member of IEST for 10 years and has worked on four IEST working groups.

Roger Diener is the new director of committee six, Reference Documents. Diener is a contamination control engineer at Analog Devices Semiconductor. He is currently the International Advisory Council (IAC) vice president. An IEST senior member, he is a current voting member on 12 IEST working groups.

The new deputy director of committee seven, Nanotechnologies is John Weaver. Weaver, senior member of IEST, is a voting member of IEST WG-201, Forum for Nanoscale Research Facilities. He is the manager of the new Birck Nanotechnology Center at Purdue University.

Donald Bartelson, principal engineer of CSC, is now the new chair of IEST Working Group CC016, The Rate of Deposition of Nonvolatile Residue in Cleanrooms. He has been an IEST Member for 10 years and is a voting member on four IEST working groups.

IEST working group CC042, Liquid-borne Particle Counters, will be chaired by Huaping Wang. Wang is the Manager of Technology Characterization at Entegris.

The new Chair of IEST CC031, Outgassing Performance Criteria for Cleanroom Materials, is Jim Ohlsen. He is currently the Director of Materials at Entegris.
