IEST updates recommended practice on unidirectional-flow and clean air devices
The US Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST) has updated IEST-RP-CC002.3: Unidirectional-Flow, Clean-Air Devices.
The new edition expands the section on types of devices with descriptions and illustrations of 11 configurations. Additions include horizontal flow with exhaust, horizontal flow with recirculation, vertical flow/dual access, and vertical flow/dual access with exhaust. The table of recommended tests has been revised to incorporate these devices. In addition, the test section of the document has been updated and reorganised into three main categories: primary, secondary, and manufacturer-level tests.
The document is available in print and electronically.
