JohnsonDiversey UK
JohnsonDiversey, on stand G103, is a supplier of cleanroom disinfectants for the pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology industries.
At this year’s show the company will unveil its new sporicide, ClearKlens Bi-Spore.Details about the product will be given at the 3C seminar in a presentation “Validation of disinfectants, Interpretation and Implementation” by Tim Jones, the company Microbiologist, on 15th February at 11:30am.
JohnsonDiversey’s aim is to provide a simple solution to cleanroom disinfection; providing an alternative to the unnecessarily complex variety of products that has gradually built up in the market. The company has developed a dedicated range called ClearKlens, minimising the need for revalidation. Products are manufactured to GMP standards with full batch traceability; they are supported by full technical documentation; the disinfectants are fully supported through the Biocides Product Directive (BPD); and they are tested to and pass all relevant EN standards.
The new ClearKlens Bi-Spore is a novel sporicide for use in pharmaceutical cleanrooms. A chlorine dioxide based, two-part sterile sporicide, it is formulated to compliment ClearKlens Tego 2000 and ClearKlens Tego 2001, completing the JohnsonDiversey rotational package for cleanroom disinfection.
ClearKlens Bi-Spore offers rapid sporicidal efficacy, proven to be highly effective in a 5 minute contact time. Our research has shown that the maximum achievable contact time in a cleanroom environment is 5-8 minutes due to constant air circulation drying the product.
In practise an effective sporicide must achieve a log 3 reduction in BS EN 13704 within a practical in use contact time of 8 minutes. ClearKlens Bi-Spore is proven to pass BS EN 13704 in a 5 minute contact time
