Rexam, the global consumer packaging company, has increased its worldwide closures and containers capabilities with a state of the art 190,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Madisonville, Kentucky, US. The $30 million facility is now operational. The new manufacturing facility, part of the Rexam Closures & Containers division, is among the most advanced injection moulding plants in the world, with fully automated production lines and use of white room technology to guarantee adherence to the highest cleanliness and sanitation guidelines, according to Clas Nilstoft, Division Director. "This further expands Rexam's role as a worldwide supplier of consumer packaging," Nilstoft said. "By pairing the most advanced technology available with a highly-trained workforce, we can continue to meet our customers' needs for quality products with the lowest possible production costs."
