Marigold offers free chemical education pack

Hand protection expert Marigold Industrial is offering a free chemical safety education pack to mark this year's European Week for Safety and Health at Work. Focusing on the safe handling of dangerous substances, the event is being organised by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, and runs from 13 October. The safety information pack includes a copy of Marigold Industrial's highly acclaimed Grasp hand protection report, its chemical resistance chart, featuring data on which glove materials will protect staff against 92 of the most commonly used chemicals, and its product guide to ensure the right glove selection for the job. Darren Chambers of Marigold Industrial said: "Training and education are high priority at Marigold Industrial and we applaud the focus of this year's European Week for Safety and Health at Work. "For anyone with responsibility for staff working with chemicals, the pack will provide all the information required to assess the risks, educate staff on hand protection issues, and identify and source the right type of gloves to provide proper protection," he added.
