Marigold provides non-latex option
A non-latex glove specifically designed for use in the cleanroom and pharmaceutical sector has been launched by Marigold Industrial.
The powder-free non-latex Suretech Pharma S328 glove is particularly useful for anyone sensitive to natural rubber latex proteins, the company says. It has a unique Biogel coating to ensure that the gloves are comfortable to wear and easy to apply and remove. The gamma irradiation sterilised Suretech Pharma S328 glove, supplied in individual sealed pair packs, is packaged in a powder-free controlled environment to minimise particulate contamination. With a glove length of 300mm and double wall thickness of 0.38mm, they are available in full and half sizes from six up to nine. John Thorne, UK country manager at Marigold Industrial, says the need to provide a non-latex glove with all the features and benefits of latex in terms of comfort, flexibility and user friendliness was the driving force behind the design and development of the new product. "Suretech Pharma S328 provides pharmaceutical companies with a high performance, viable alternative to traditional latex gloves. This is particularly beneficial where staff are sensitive to natural rubber latex proteins, and is a valuable addition to our range," he said.
