A provider of health and safety solutions for healthcare environments has launched a new tool designed to offer professional indication of the inspection and cleaning provided in communal facilities.

The Hygiene washroom monitor is a visual alternative to traditional pen and paper records. The monitor introduces a visual discipline to the management of the cleaning regime, instilling confidence that the facilities are being regularly maintained.

Flush wall mounted with a clear digital countdown display, battery or mains powered, the monitor incorporates smart card technology to record compliance and allow for regular audit downloads to monitor performance.

The four-digit display features the date with a day and night time setting and alternates between a live 12 / 24 hour clock and countdown indicator as to when the next inspection is due.

The monitor is a tough sealed vacuum unit, tampered proof it provides for a regular audit of operations with details of personnel, names, times, date and location that can be easily downloaded to a PC as a log for attendance and performance records.

Using a credit card swipe card, staff can automatically record each visit resetting the countdown display in the process.
