Monitoring simplicity
A laboratory environment monitor from GE Druck company, Ruska Instruments, is said to simplify the measurement and recording of controlled environment/laboratory conditions.
The LEM monitors barometric pressure, temperature, humidity and air density using dedicated LEMCal PC software and an RS232/485 serial interface to display and log real time measurements. Providing a one year total uncertainty of 2.6mbar for pressure 0.5oC for temperature and 10% for Relative Humidity, the LEM is said to be an ideal replacement for traditional mechanical strip chart or barrel type recorders.
