Munters and Airedale team up for pharma cleanliness

Munters, the global humidity control firm, has teamed up with Airedale Environmental Services to optimise the conditions for a number of pharmaceutical cleanrooms.

When equipment from Airedale is used alongside Munter’s desiccant dehumidifiers, clients are able to effectively control the pressure, temperature and RH levels within a range of different sized facilities and therefore minimise the risk of contamination, Munters says.

The MX1500 dehumidifier is the model most commonly used when the two firms work together, and Munters says that the units are capable of dehumidifying down to –20°C with a high capacity and very low dewpoints. Moisture is collected on a slowly revolving dessicant wheel and either vented outside the building or collected as condensation and discharged.
