UK-based company Computer Imprintable Label Systems (CILS) has launched a new range of specialist labels that can withstand sterilisation.

The new CIL 9000 range of autoclave/sterilisation resistant laboratory labels are designed for wet, dry and radiation sterilisation processes, and are resistant to autoclaves, chemicals, detergents, washing and temperature extremes of up to 400°C. The labels are perfect for identifying lab ware, theatre instrument trays, microsurgical/medical devices, double blister packs.

CILS manufactures the widest range of labels that can be supplied pre-printed or blank in any size, shape and colour to your specification. Printed variable data such as lot, batch and serial numbers, as well as two-dimensional barcodes can be added ‘in-house’ with a thermal transfer or laser printer. CILS also has a bureau service to print your barcodes and number sequences onto labels for you.
