New name in flues and chimneys

SFL is the new name of the company manufacturing and marketing the Selkirk brand of industrial chimney and flue applications. Resources have been strengthened recently by consolidation of the manufacture of Powrmatic Flue products within the SFL factory in Barnstaple, UK.

The range now includes System 250/GV, System 90/AVZ and System 1 alongside IL, ILS, SM, SMW, Supra and Europa. Wherever possible, SFL has improved and brought the products into line with the latest industry standards. The most notable enhancement has been the move to a higher grade insulating material on the commercial System 250 product and throughout the System 90 AVZ range.

The Supra single wall product now has factory fitted seals as standard, while Europa is in the process of being developed to give added value features.

SFL’s advanced Computer Aided Design and bespoke in-house software has substantially reduced the time involved for calculating, assessing and sizing systems to the latest EN standards.
