New sampling system for pure steam

Switzerland-based Christ Water Technology Group has developed the Vapotest for sampling pure steam condensate, which allows the temperature to be set both manually and automatically. The compact Vapotest features a standard integrated sampling valve, which means it can be used in devices other than just the Christ Vapotron. It can easily be a component of facilities of other brands or connected to an existing pure steam network.

The unit is ready-to-connect immediately, thus ensuring easy and cost-effective installation. Manual sampling is carried out on the medium, ergonomic height, next to the evaporator column. This is said to be convenient while at the same time reducing contamination risk. Temperature control additionally protects operators from scalding. All product parts are made of 316 L stainless steel. Connections in contact with the product were developed as sterile clamps pursuant to DIN 32676, and cooling water connections as welding plugs. www.christwater.com
