When should I use presaturated wipes instead of dry wipes and spray?

The answer? When you need precision or convenience in wet wiping

Using dry wipes and isopropyl alcohol (IPA) is generally more cost effective than presaturated wipes. Many dry wipes and sprays are packaged in larger volumes for lower prices. And unlike a pack of presaturated wipes that is opened but unused, as long as your spray bottle or jug is properly closed, there’s no concern of premature dry out.

But you can always spray too much or too little, and that’s where presaturated wipes offer the advantage. A fresh pack offers the same dosage of liquid every single time. So if you’re doing work that is splash sensitive or requires controlled drying time, presaturated wipes are the way to go. Additionally, if you’re doing a lot of dedicated wet wiping, presaturated wipes can drastically speed up your work.

FG Clean Wipes carries a wide variety of woven and nonwoven dry wipes, IPA sprays and presaturated wipes. If you’re having trouble deciding which way to go for a specific budget or process, reach out and we can help you find the optimal solution.
