Ready to go sterilisation

Pharmaceutical process equipment specialist Biopharma Process Systems has introduced a new line of Gruenberg S-Series '21CFR11 ready' hot air sterilisers to the UK and Ireland. Gruenberg S–series sterilisers are designed and manufactured to comply with all pertinent cGMP requirements. The interior is manufactured with a fully welded and polished stainless steel liner and all interior corners are formed with a 18mm radius to provide ease of wipe-downs. Similar close attention has been given to the smooth exterior panels. The sterilisers are rated for depyrogenation temperatures of up to 260°C with a uniformity of +5°C as standard, bettering current requirements and ensuring greater product consistency. With high efficiency HEPA filters installed in the air intake, exhaust and recirculation wall, a full Class A (Class 100) condition throughout the entire process cycle is guaranteed as standard. Filter housing design provides ease of access to the HEPA filters and intake pre-filter for validation and maintenance purposes. A Bio-seal flange can be provided to seal the steriliser into the facility wall at the 'clean' side of the system and ensure a positive barrier preventing particulate from entering the cleanroom from the maintenance or loading area. Chamber doors have an automatic latching and interlocking feature to ensure correct pass-through operation.
