Samples keep their cool

US company Carltex, based on Long Island, New York, has introduced a new line of low cost, high quality sanitary sample coolers specifically designed for the safe taking of samples for chemistry/TOC, conductivity and microbiological studies from steam or heated water systems.

Intended for use in pharmaceutical plants and cleanrooms, these sanitary sample coolers are constructed of bright polished 316L stainless steel and include a bracket for wall mounting.

The sample enters the top of the cooler and flows downward through the self-draining coils of electro-polished, seamless stainless steel. Available in both fixed and portable versions, these coolers can be steam sterilised or depyrogenated using a hot air process.
