Inviron's Climate Systems business has completed a £430,000 contract to deliver an advanced cleanroom project for optoelectronics company Optics. Climate Systems worked as specialist subcontractor to Shepherd Construction, to provide a turnkey solution for the build, as well as all associated HVAC systems. Climate Systems' solution provides Class 7 and 6 room standard, with temperature and humidity control of +0.5ºC and +5% relative humidity, as well as pressure control regime within the areas. The standard is based on BS EN150 14644 1999. The Optics project is funded by the Welsh Development Agency under a new research and development commitment for the area. Climate Systems worked alongside URS as consultants and Balfour Kilpatrick as M&E contractors.
