Shinsung E&G has unveiled a new range of fan filter unit (FFU)-based cleanroom solutions at Air Fair 2026 in Seoul.
The South Korean cleanroom specialist showcased the products at the three-day exhibition held at COEX from 8–10 April, where it presented technologies designed for semiconductor, display and secondary battery manufacturing environments.
The latest lineup includes the company’s V-Master system, which removes more than 95% of airborne volatile organic compounds.
The showcase also included new FFU variants such as the internal chemical filter and integrated lighting models.
Shinsung also demonstrated its air purification capabilities through a live “fine particle visualisation” zone.
The zone allowed visitors to monitor airborne contaminants in real time using laser-based detection, as well as on-site demonstrations of its industrial air purification equipment.
The FFU systems are designed to maintain controlled environments by supplying and circulating filtered air within cleanrooms, supporting high-spec manufacturing processes.
Alongside the product launch, the company signalled a strategic shift towards new application areas, including bio cleanrooms and dry room environments, extending beyond its traditional semiconductor-focused market.
“We are expanding beyond semiconductor cleanrooms into various clean environment areas such as bio cleanrooms and dry rooms, and building our position as a leading climate tech company,” said a Shinsung E&G official.
