SkinWear hand cleaner protects against germs for up to eight hours

US-based SKWPartners claims its SkinWear extended-protection, all-in-one hand cleanser, sanitiser and moisturiser, which is proven to kill germs for as long as eight hours with a single application, could provide protection against the bacteria that cause swine flu and other types of influenza.

‘SkinWear is a radical departure from hygiene products available to date,’ said Tom Guzek of SKWPartners. ‘Not only is it more thorough and cost-effective than current anti-bacterial soaps and alcohol-based hand sanitisers, but its eight-hour extended efficacy actually continues to kill germs between washings, reducing the spread of germs.’

SkinWear's active anti-bacterial ingredient, Irgasan DP 300, is enveloped and bonded to the skin surface, which allows for the extended germ-killing action. This formula creates an all-natural, non-slippery, silicon and alcohol-free weave which forms a bond with the skin that kills germs for up to eight hours while also maintaining the natural oils in the skin that keep hands moist and healthy.

SkinWear is vegetable and citric-based, biodegradable, non-toxic and free of animal by-products. It has not been tested on animals and is chlorine-free. www.skinwearusa.com
