Axium Process, of Swansea in the UK, is offering a rapid turnround fabrication service for high quality stainless steel components and assemblies, ranging from adaptors and manifolds to the supply of fully integrated manual or automatic hygienic process plant.

The company says its new customised factory focuses on a clean engineering and working environment and is operated to the "strict standards and procedures required by the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and beverage sectors". In-house orbital welding is used where appropriate to ensure weld reproducibility and integrity. Material traceabilitity to BS EN 10204/DIN 50049.1.B is available on request and a profilometer is used to achieve objective consistency of finish. Surface finishes include mechanical polishes to 0.25µm Ra, while glass bead blasting and electropolishing are also available.
