JS Humidifiers has launched its new Neptronic SKE resistive steam humidifier. It is ideal for the pharmaceutical industry, according to the company, as it controls humidity to within +/-1% relative humidity and delivers up to 80kg of steam per hour from a single unit. The Neptronic SKE, unlike electrode boiler humidifiers, does not require replacement cylinders and due to its self-cleaning elements, is low maintenance. The unit has a patented AFEC (anti-foaming energy conservation) system which protects the heating elements burning out, enabling them to last much longer. In addition, JS claims it is the only resistive humidifier in the UK to be WRAS approved.
