Supply Chain Management and MEP Solutions expert SourceBlue has completed a confidential manufacturing cleanroom in Portland, Oregon.

This project involves the upgrade of a 4,000 sqft cleanroom inside an existing facility, elevating cleanliness standards with enhancements to the gowning room, air shower, and pass-through systems aimed at modernising the facility and enhancing operational efficiency.

SourceBlue is a team of specialised equipment planners, builders, engineers, and project managers work closely with project owners and their consultants to help them acquire the necessary equipment, materials, and finished products for their projects.

The project team handed over the cleanroom six weeks ahead of schedule

Understanding the role of permanent power and equipment startup in the project's critical path, SourceBlue utilised its vendor relationships at local and national levels to drive improvements in production lead times.

SourceBlue diligently tracked equipment lead times at key factories and by observing positive trends, took action to streamline production for the project. These efficiencies created the opportunity to accelerate the deployment of permanent power, enabling earlier equipment startup and commissioning.

Mechanical - Recirculation units, makeup air unit, condensing units, humidifier, fan filter unit.

Electrical and Lighting - Switchboards, panelboards, transformers, and controls.

As a result of the company's efforts, the project team handed over the cleanroom six weeks ahead of schedule.
