Systech targets OEM market with transducer

Oxfordshire, UK-based Systech Instruments says it is aiming its new EC600 oxygen transducer at the OEM market and also industrial and laboratory applications.

The unit can be used for monitoring glove boxes, nitrogen generators and gas shrouding systems and has 2-wire, 420mA loop power setup, with a single gas inlet and an in-built pressure regulation.

The EC600's optional remote display unit provides simple and accurate onsite calibration and setup, input of alarm set-points and 4-20mA retransmission, the company says. An RS232 interface enables data transmission to a network for off-site monitoring. A maintenance free, galvanic fuel cell gives the transducer a long life, typically 3 years for the ppm type and 5 years for the % type.

An EC600 suitable for use in ATEX hazardous areas will be available in the near future.
