Taking a soft approach to cleanrooms

The latest Series 575 soft wall cleanrooms from Clean Air Products, of Minneapolis in the US, are able to provide a durable, freestanding cleanroom environment from Class 100,000 to Class 10, and can be used in open areas of up to 32ft with no centre supports.

The cleanrooms come complete with motorised ceiling HEPA filters, lights, a ceiling panel, tee bars and prefab wiring. They are available in a variety of shapes and sizes to suit specific application requirements, and their prefab design facilitates fast delivery and easy installation. A Nest Tight ceiling grid system eliminates a major source of headaches found in other cleanroom systems by providing a zero-leak cleanroom ceiling essential for optimum performance. The nested tee bar joint also eliminates the butt joint space of conventional non-cleanroom tee bar grid systems, while allowing the cleanroom to enclose a large span without the inconvenience of centre posts.
