Tensiometers move on

The new AquaPi is a robust, battery operated, truly portable tensiometer from Kibron, of Helsinki, Finland. It weighs just 2.2kg, and can complete more than 1000 liquid surface tension measurements before recharging. It performs very fast and accurate automated measurements making it ideal for laboratory or on-site measurements in many industries, especially where there is a need for water quality and environmental monitoring. It uses inexpensive consumable plastic cuvettes, which prevent contamination of samples and require a volume of only 3.5 millilitres. One complete measurement takes less than 30 seconds.
