The Scottish Society for Contamination Control

S2C2 – the Scottish Society for Contamination Control organises conferences and courses to keep members up to date with the latest developments in international standards and contamination control technology.


It maintains links with similar societies in other countries, exchanging ideas and information. It represents members in the BSI and ISO cleanroom standards committees and through its active participation is able to keep members aware of the latest requirements.

In 2002, the Society founded the Cleanroom Testing and Certification Board (CTCB) to provide courses and exams to certify successful candidates in aspects of cleanroom technology.
