Thermal Transfer joins French company

Specialist contractor Thermal Transfer (TT) has been acquired by ETDE, the electrical/maintenance subsidiary of the French company Bouygues Construction.

TT, based in Glossop in the UK, specialises in the design and build of cleanrooms, laboratories, controlled environments and process systems for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and healthcare markets.

The £20m deal is seen as a positive step for the future of TT’s development by managing director Nigel Frost. TT employs 425 employees in the UK and last year had a turnover of £70m.
