Wilden AG opens Czech plant
Wilden AG, the injection moulding company, has opened a new production plant in Dysina in the Czech Republic. With 40 employees, this plant will produce plastic covers for headlights for the auto-parts supplier Hella. The company will produce surface-treated parts that will be treated under cleanroom conditions. A group of three injection-moulding machines with a mould clamping capacity of 800-1,000 tonnes will be installed for large-scale production. The production of the plastic covers will be carried out in two stages. Firstly, the parts will be injected under cleanroom conditions. The covers will be extracted through a fully automated hexaxial articulated robot arm and introduced into a cleanroom with the help of special conveyors. The parts are then polished with lacquer and then tested. The Wilden group has 11 plants and branch offices in Europe and the US.
