Cleanroom & Containment Facilities Limited (CCF) has delivered a new cleanroom manufacturing facility for Francicea at Venture House in Lichfield, supporting the company's expansion into the manufacture of homeopathic products.
The facility was completed in August 2026 following a six-month project programme, according to CCTech, which acted as technical adviser and validation consultant as part of the project team.
The new facility includes a production cleanroom, a controlled, non-classified area for packaging and labelling, and supporting HVAC, purified water and production equipment.
Francicea is a UK-based supplier of complementary and alternative therapies with more than 30 years' experience in the industry.
The company has traditionally supplied homeopathic products and is now expanding into manufacturing at its Lichfield site.
CCF, which specialises in the design and delivery of cleanrooms, containment facilities and controlled environments, worked with Francicea on the development and delivery of the new manufacturing environment.
CCTech supported the project as technical adviser and validation consultant, providing advice on cleanroom and HVAC requirements, GMP compliance, purified water and production equipment.
Its work also included validation lifecycle support and development of the associated documentation strategy.
The project team worked with Francicea to develop a facility aligned with its planned manufacturing operations, considering requirements including cleanroom design, HVAC, utilities, equipment and operational flows.
The completed facility will provide Francicea with a dedicated environment for the preparation and manufacture of its homeopathic products as the company expands its manufacturing activities.
The project was completed within six months, with the facility becoming operational in August 2026.
The Lichfield project follows CCF’s delivery this month of a new NHS aseptic pharmacy unit in Portsmouth, where the company acted as design and build contractor and worked with CCTech on validation and compliance.
