Framing system gives cleanroom manufacturers “more flexibility”
Bosch Rexroth has developed a range of modular aluminium framing components specifically designed for cleanroom applications and other contaminant-sensitive environments.
As an alternative to welded steel components, the modular aluminium cleanroom profile product line saves time and money in configuration, the company says. The system uses bolt-together construction for maximum configurability using simple hand tools.
Independently cleanroom-tested by the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation in Stuttgart, Germany, the range includes smooth surfaced aluminium extrusions and aluminium cover strips that eliminate particle traps and minimise outgassing in cleanroom structures.
A wide range of accessories designed to ensure maximum air flow with minimum turbulence lets users build tables, carts, enclosures, and more for reasonable start-up and operating costs. The modularity of the Rexroth aluminium structural framing system lets manufacturers re-configure cleanroom structures as needed.
The company also offers a virtual aluminium structural framing shop to purchase components online.
